Our company in Sandton is growing and is searching for an experienced female candidate for the position of junior accountant.

Responsibilities for junior accountant

• Candidate will ist on month & year end closing

• Handling cash receipt

• Closing year financials

• Account receivable collections

• Assist with preparations for audits

• Assist in the development of the company’s annual budget

• Prepare and/or ist with quarterly Tax, VAT and Returns

• Safeguard and secure all financial records of the company

• Recording cash transactions related to Accounts Receivable, including the processing of credit card transactions

• Accessing confidential company and client financial information such as bank accounts and credit cards

• Update ets

• Various daily financial task

Qualifications for junior accountant

• Multitasker with ability to work on multiple projects for multiple people

• Qualified accountant

• One plus year of accounting experience

• Sales tax returns a plus, but not required

• They want someone who can be very hands on, multi-task, can pick up quick, detail oriented, consistent, follow directives, who can communicate very well
