Commercial & Industrial Refrigeration Technician

Requirements:
• 4 Years’ post-trade experience with references
• Valid Driver’s License
• No criminal record (will be screened)
• Good communication skills - verbally and written
• Good mechanical skills
• Good problem-solving skills
• Able to do installations
• Adhere to safety guidelines
• Work with other technicians
• Precise, reliable, self-motivated, and hardworking (after-hours a possibility)

MUST have extensive knowledge of the following:

• Controllers – Carel and Multiplexes specifically
• VSD Drivers
• Compressor management
• Electronic components
• Energy saving expansion valves & monitoring

Duties will include, but not be limited to:

• Commercial Refrigeration plant repairs
• Multiplexes, Simplexes and electronics
• Fault-finding - remotely and on-site
• Fault-finding on electrical boards
• Troubleshoot mechanical failures
• Process and complete work orders
• Handle commissions, monitoring systems and signing off plants with project managers
• Clearly communicate any additional work required on site
• Install, service and repair refrigeration systems such as:
• Condensing Units
• Compressors
• Evaporators
