Job Vacancy: Rollerskating Rink Manager

Are you pionate about rollerskating and looking for an exciting leadership opportunity? We are seeking a dynamic Rollerskating Rink Manager to join our team and oversee the operations of our popular rollerskating rink. This is a unique chance to showcase your management skills while providing a fun and enjoyable experience for skaters of all ages and skill levels.

Responsibilities:

• Operational Management: Efficiently manage day-to-day operations of the rollerskating rink, including staffing, scheduling, and maintenance. Ensure the facility is clean, safe, and well-maintained at all times.


• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to all patrons, creating a welcoming and inclusive environment. Address customer concerns and inquiries promptly and professionally.


• Staff Supervision: Lead and motivate a team of employees, including skate attendants, cashiers, and maintenance staff. Train new hires, schedule shifts, and conduct performance evaluations to ensure a high level of service and professionalism.


• Events and Programming: Coordinate and promote a variety of events, including theme nights, parties, and roller derby competitions. Collaborate with local organizations to offer cles, workshops, and other roller-based activities.


• Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and procedures to minimize accidents and injuries. Monitor skaters for adherence to safety rules and regulations. Implement emergency response plans and conduct regular safety drills.


• Inventory and Financial Management: Oversee inventory control, ordering, and stock management of rental skates, accessories, and concessions. Monitor financial performance, prepare budgets, and analyze revenue and expense reports.


• Marketing and Promotion: Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones. Utilize various channels, including social media, local advertising, and community partnerships to increase visibility and drive business growth.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a managerial role, preferably in a recreational or entertainment setting.


• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with customers and staff.


• Knowledge of rollerskating industry trends, safety protocols, and equipment maintenance advantageous.


• Proven ability to lead and motivate a diverse team, fostering a positive work environment.


• Proficiency in basic financial management, including budgeting and inventory control.


• Creativity and a pion for creating memorable experiences and innovative programming.


• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
