Position Overview:

The Financial Officer is responsible for the effective financial management of the school, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance with both best practice standards and the legal requirements set out in the South African Schools Act (SASA). This role requires not only strong technical expertise in finance, but also exceptional leadership to manage the finance department, train and mentor staff, and work closely with the School Governing Body (SGB) and Principal.

Requirements:

• 3–5 Years’ financial management or senior accounting


• Educational or non-profit environment (preferred)


• Tertiary qualification in finance, accounting, or related


• Oversee daily financial operations


• Budgeting and Forecasting


• Financial Reporting


• Compliance and Governance


• Audit and Annual Review


• Bilingual in Afrikaans & English

Salary Package:

• Depending on candidate’s experience and qualifications
