PRODUCTION MANAGER (Manufacturing/ FMCG) Ogies, Mpumalanga

Role description: To ensure that the process is managed from raw material intake, conditioning, degermination, basic maintenance to quality product as per agreed specification into final product bins. Achieving all the technical value drivers as set out by the company.

Minimum requirements: • Minimum 10 years’ experience as Production/Milling Manager of a team of at least 30 people • Minimum 5 years food safety or similar experience (HACCP, ISO, FSSC) • Further qualifications/ training/ or at least 3 years’ experience in people management, industrial relations and performance management • GMF Modules including practical test ped • Higher education (post graduate certificate / degree) will be advantageous • Grade 12 • Basic Mechanical skills (Sifters, roll change, V Belts), • Dryer / Heater Bank System Training • Fumigation (Pest Control Fumigation course -PCO course) and Raw material grading experience advantageous • OHS and or safety rep (First Aid / Fire Fighting formal training) experience advantageous • Raw Material Grading Course ped • Forklift License advantageous
